Requirements
- High School Diploma (or GED)
- Minimum of five (5) years of E&P or related H&S experience
- Strong knowledge of Production and Completions operations
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR
- Ability to pass a respiratory fit test if applicable to route/location
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test
Responsibilities
- Provides on-site health and safety support, assists in coaching and mentoring staff, ensures daily focus on H&S requirements, collaborates on goals, participates in H&S meetings, and helps address technical questions.
- Assists in developing and rolling out HSE programs, procedures, and standards to reduce risks, helps communicate and train field staff, and identifies areas for improvement.
- Supports compliance inspections, tracks safety data, assists during regulatory meetings, and ensures necessary safety equipment is available.
- Helps investigate and report incidents, coordinates injury case management, supports corrective actions, and shares important safety insights with the team.
- Works with field teams to address daily risk, recommends safety measures, supports high-risk tasks (e.g., rig moves), and conducts hazard assessments.
- Conducts safety inspections, prepares for high-risk activities, promotes best practices, and helps compile improvement reports.
- Supports contractor safety efforts, coordinates contractor communication, assists in vendor qualification, participates in safety meetings, and helps manage drug and alcohol testing programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- H&S Certification (CSP, CIH, CHMM, OHST or a related discipline)
- Strong Knowledge of production, completions, and drilling.
