Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or GED)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of E&P or related H&S experience
  • Strong knowledge of Production and Completions operations
  • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR
  • Ability to pass a respiratory fit test if applicable to route/location
  • An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test

Responsibilities

  • Provides on-site health and safety support, assists in coaching and mentoring staff, ensures daily focus on H&S requirements, collaborates on goals, participates in H&S meetings, and helps address technical questions.
  • Assists in developing and rolling out HSE programs, procedures, and standards to reduce risks, helps communicate and train field staff, and identifies areas for improvement.
  • Supports compliance inspections, tracks safety data, assists during regulatory meetings, and ensures necessary safety equipment is available.
  • Helps investigate and report incidents, coordinates injury case management, supports corrective actions, and shares important safety insights with the team.
  • Works with field teams to address daily risk, recommends safety measures, supports high-risk tasks (e.g., rig moves), and conducts hazard assessments.
  • Conducts safety inspections, prepares for high-risk activities, promotes best practices, and helps compile improvement reports.
  • Supports contractor safety efforts, coordinates contractor communication, assists in vendor qualification, participates in safety meetings, and helps manage drug and alcohol testing programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • H&S Certification (CSP, CIH, CHMM, OHST or a related discipline)
  • Strong Knowledge of production, completions, and drilling.
