Requirements
- Must be available for entirety of 8-week program: June 2 – July 25, 2025, at 37.5 hours per week.
- Full-time student, if you are an undergraduate student, you have completed your freshman year of college.
- Have a minimum of a B average (cumulative 3.0 on 4.0 scale).
- Plan to continue your education in the following term/semester.
- Upload a resume upon application submission.
- Note: an internship assignment may coincide with your last term/trimester as a full-time student, but the internship must be disengaged upon graduation.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Center qualitative data to create opportunities for storytelling about our grantees.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications staff to align marketing goals with content creation.
- Develop diverse marketing content utilizing Canva focusing on trainee accomplishments and background, the importance of diversity in the cancer research workforce, national awareness campaigns, and other content that aligns with the goals of the Center.
- Use mixed-media strategies, where applicable, to create relevant content for a variety of audiences, including but not limited to, national meetings, PI’s, high school students, undergraduate students, post-baccalaureate fellows, professors, etc.
