Requirements

  • 10+ years leading social, creator/influencer, or community programs — ideally in gaming or entertainment
  • Deep understanding of fan behavior, digital culture, and how gaming communities engage across console, PC, and mobile
  • Proven experience building teams and launching social/creator/community programs that deliver measurable impact
  • Fluent in social platforms (TikTok, Discord, YouTube, Instagram, X, Reddit, etc.) and creator ecosystems
  • Sharp creative instincts with an eye for content that resonates natively and drives conversation
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with experience managing global stakeholders
  • Comfortable using performance and sentiment data to drive strategy, identify insights, and iterate content
  • Passionate about fandom, player communities, and the power of storytelling in games

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve our cross-channel social strategy, ensuring content is tailored to each platform’s native format, audience behavior, and algorithm — from TikTok to LinkedIn
  • Stay ahead of emerging platform features and trends to ensure our franchises are innovating — not following
  • Define and own the global social media strategy for all titles and the corporate brand
  • Collaborate with brand, studio, and comms teams to ensure platform-native storytelling is aligned with broader marketing and product goals
  • Delivering to Brand and Marketing Strategies lead the creative development and execution of always-on content, beats-based campaigns, and franchise launch moments — across social, community and creator platforms
  • Build long-term relationships with creators who matter — streamers, lore-savvy fans, content creators, cosplayers, and modders — tailored to the culture of each franchise
  • Launch and lead a global WB Games creator program that rewards fandom with early access, exclusive content, co-creation opportunities, and recognition
  • Plan and execute influencer campaigns that balance paid partnerships, organic engagement, and surprise-and-delight tactics
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agencies to scale programs globally, while supporting locally relevant activations
  • Negotiate talent deals and track performance across Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and other key channels
  • Cultivate authentic fan relationships by engaging directly with players across Discord, Reddit, X, YouTube, Steam forums, and beyond
  • Lead community-driven campaigns, franchise-specific programs, and in-game activations that strengthen player connection and loyalty
  • Monitor player sentiment, flag risks and opportunities, and deliver insights reports that help inform publishing strategy, live ops planning, and product development
  • Build structured feedback loops to ensure community voice influences decision-making across marketing, studios, and franchise teams
  • Establish moderation protocols to maintain a safe and inclusive community environment
  • Partner with growth and performance marketing teams to scale high-performing organic content through paid media
  • Leverage data and audience insights to test, optimize, and iterate on creative for maximum reach and ROI
  • Bridge the gap between brand storytelling and performance objectives through strategic amplification
  • Analyze engagement, reach, sentiment, and creator performance to inform content strategy and improve campaign impact
  • Identify key spikes, drops, or shifts in community behavior — linking them back to content, creator activations, or in-game moments
  • Regularly report on KPIs, fan growth, and cultural impact — turning community insight into strategic action
  • Build, lead, and mentor a world-class global team across social, creator, and community disciplines
  • Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Communications, Live Ops, Insights, Product, and Studio teams to ensure aligned strategy and flawless execution
  • Champion a culture of player-first thinking, platform-native creativity, and data-informed experimentation
