Requirements

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in strategy, commercial leadership, and M&A roles, preferably in the real estate or professional services industries

Responsibilities

  • Lead the continued development and implementation of the global PDS business strategy
  • Identify and assess market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and industry trends
  • Continue to monitor market trends and business performance to identify prevailing dynamics which may necessitate tweaks/ resets/ reprioritisation of capital allocation
  • Collaborate with regional leaders to align global and local strategies and monitor progress on local execution against 3 year plan
  • Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives within PDS
  • Conduct regular reviews of industry competitor activity and keep leadership team updated on relevant industry news and competitor activity
  • Work closely with Research colleagues to identify potential disruptors/ threats and develop mitigating actions/ tactics to protect and future-proof the business/ get ahead of risks
  • Continue to evolve PDS Global commercial policies, processes, procedures and Central governance committees
  • Establish PDS Global Commercial Organisation and implement the first version of the Global PDS Commercialisation and Risk Management Framework through this structure into the Regions
  • Work closely with WD Commercial organisation to ensure clear alignment and process hand-offs for pre-contracting phase
  • Optimize commercial processes and pricing strategies across the PDS portfolio
  • Develop and implement best practices for client engagement and value creation
  • Lead cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings and client solutions
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators for commercial success on live contracts to drive optimal outcomes and ensure learnings cycled back to front end
  • Establish contract close out mechanisms and monitor adherence and timeliness of execution vs targets and benchmarks. Work with legal to ensure visibility of all legal disputes and litigations (through quarterly reporting) and ensure business maintains connectivity to and ownership of all litigations to ensure optimal and timely outcomes and commercial solutions.
  • Identify and evaluate potential M&A targets aligned with PDS growth strategy
  • Serve as the strategist, architect, and technical expert in due diligence process in all ventures (i.e. JV, alliances, minority stake, acquisition, etc.)
  • Act as the primary owner and driver to oversee post-merger integration, ensuring successful outcomes
  • Develop integration charter
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry players and financial institutions working closely with Corporate Development team
  • Serve as a key member of the PDS global leadership team
  • Support PDS and JLL colleagues to develop localised strategies that connect to our Global framework and execution plans which can be tracked and reported
  • Be trusted advisor to PDS colleagues and Global CEO PDS and take ownership and accountability for collective performance of the PDS business
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance
  • Develop and mentor team members to build organizational capabilities
  • Collaborate with other business lines and corporate functions to drive synergies
  • Work with other segments to identify and develop cross-sell opportunities
  • Spend time with clients to understand their needs and continue to inform our strategic direction and solution requirements
  • Drive profitable growth (and continuous YoY margin expansion) and operational efficiency within PDS to deliver our 3 year plan ambition
  • Develop and track key financial metrics and performance indicators
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes and partner closely with PDS CFO to support investment decisions
