Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and technology governance.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying and addressing complex challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies such as AI that impact enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the evolution of the Enterprise Architecture function by developing, advocating for, and supporting the enterprise’s IT strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Mercer business to define and analyse their business strategy. Develop IT strategies that are aligned and support these business strategies.
  • Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps that outline the transition from current to future state.
  • Oversee the documentation of all architecture design and analysis work, ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of the current technology landscape to detect deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Work closely with other IT leaders to ensure alignment of plans with deliverables, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared goals.
  • Consult with project teams to ensure projects align with enterprise architecture, identifying when modifications to the architecture are necessary to accommodate project needs.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure development project teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with the required technical architecture, making necessary adjustments to the technical architecture as needed.
  • Lead the development and execution of communication and education plans for EA, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the EA process.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in banking, asset management, or investment management is highly desirable; broader consulting industry experience is also an advantage.
