Requirements
- 15+ years of Global Markets experience
- senior leadership and people management experience
- deep expertise in Canadian financial markets, regulation, and economic drivers
- proven Track Record in managing P&L and complex risk portfolios
Responsibilities
- develop and execute Canada specific strategies to enhance market share and profitability
- strengthen relationships with Canadian Institutional clients and drive cross selling opportunities
- oversee trading desk, ensuring optimal risk-adjusted returns and adherence to market/credit risk limits
- ensure compliance with Canadian regulations (OSFI, IIROC) and global standards
- lead, mentor, and develop high performing teams across sales, trading, and analytics
- partner with technology, operations, and compliance teams to enhance infrastructure and efficiency
