Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 9 years relevant work experience
- 3 years management experience
- In lieu of degree, a combined 12 years of higher education and/or work experience, encompassing a minimum of 3 years management experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement education strategies focused on four key areas: onboarding for new employees, deepening capabilities of existing employees, continuous learning and development, and development programming.
- Oversee the delivery of education for customer-facing retail colleagues in classroom, virtual learning, and other interactive formats.
- Facilitate education sessions, host roundtables, and promote knowledge-sharing among employees.
- Lead a team responsible for delivering learning and development initiatives.
- Create a clear vision for the team and align their efforts with broader organizational goals.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and talent development within the L&D team.
- Act as a mentor and coach, ensuring the growth and success of team members.
- Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to identify educational needs and gaps.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to provide relevant, up-to-date education on products, services, policy changes, operational improvements and sales process.
- Establish strong relationships across the organization to ensure education programs are aligned with business goals and initiatives.
- Innovate and enhance training delivery by leveraging technology solutions.
- Collaborate with technology and innovation teams to design and implement efficient and effective learning solutions.
- Explore and implement streamlined, cost-effective methods of delivering educational content.
- Develop cost-neutral business cases for program investments.
- Ensure the L&D strategy is cost-effective and delivers value to the business.
- Align learning programs with broader organizational priorities to maximize return on investment.
- Exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
