Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- 10+ years of experience in integrated hardware and software product development with a proven track record of successful market deliveries
- Demonstrated expertise in full-life cycle product launches, including sustainment
- Proven technical proficiency in one or more of the following hardware disciplines: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, display, optics, systems engineering
- Leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional technology teams through personal accountability and influence
- Proficient communication skills, with experience in articulating complex technical concepts and drive alignment on product requirements and architecture across organizational levels
Responsibilities
- Lead hardware and technology teams through all phases of engineering design, development, and validation to bring complex MR products to mass production
- Foster strategic relationships with cross-functional peers (engineering, research, business, design, and user research) to define product requirements and architecture
- Provide technical ownership and guidance for critical hardware product decisions, driving the development of cutting-edge MR devices for Meta’s users
- Collaborate effectively across all levels of management and individual contributors, both internally and externally
- Drive business results, optimize overall objectives, and cultivate a environment of collaboration and innovation
Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ years of direct relevant experience
- Previous AR/VR or Wearables experience
- Previous Display, Optics and System-on-Chip (SoC) experience
- Ph.D. degree in Engineering or related field
