Requirements
- Ability to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
- Ability to handle cash transactions and compute bills
- Ability to manage reservations and maintain records of room availability
- Ability to enforce hotel company credit policies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Responsibilities
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services and directions
- Keep records of room availability and guests’ accounts
- Compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests
- Date-stamp, sort and rack incoming mail and messages
- Understand and enforce hotel company credit policies
- Take initiative to greet guests in a friendly manner
- Take responsibility for assigned employees in the absence of the Department Manager
- Make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations for guests
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
- Ensure uniform and appearance is clean and professional
- Other duties as assigned
