Requirements
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities. This may include some evenings, weekends and holidays.
- High attention to detail and customer service skills
- Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
- Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve group sales targets and revenue goals.
- Identify potential group clients and proactively generate leads through networking, industry events, and other sales initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to create compelling sales proposals and presentations for group clients.
- Conduct site visits, and familiarization trips to showcase the property’s amenities and services.
- Negotiate and finalize group contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the client and the hotel.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and sales events to promote the hotel and establish professional networks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Hospitality or a related field is preferred
- at least 2 years of experience in Group Sales preferred
