Global Transportation Manager

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics Operations Management, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a multinational corporation
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization
Proven track record of process optimization and operational efficiency improvements
Experience working with third-party logistics providers and warehouses
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of Transportation System landscape
Willingness to travel internationally as needed (approximately 15%)

Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize cost, service levels, and sustainability
Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouse providers, and other third-party logistics partners
Oversee transportation planning operations & ensure continuity of supply through hands-on coordination with freight forwarders and steamship lines
Monitor KPIs related to transportation performance, including on-time delivery and booking operations, cost per shipment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate logistics processes with business operations
Provide leadership and guidance to logistics team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to logistics and supply chain management
