Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics Operations Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a multinational corporation
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization
- Proven track record of process optimization and operational efficiency improvements
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers and warehouses
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of Transportation System landscape
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed (approximately 15%)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize cost, service levels, and sustainability
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouse providers, and other third-party logistics partners
- Oversee transportation planning operations & ensure continuity of supply through hands-on coordination with freight forwarders and steamship lines
- Monitor KPIs related to transportation performance, including on-time delivery and booking operations, cost per shipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate logistics processes with business operations
- Provide leadership and guidance to logistics team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to logistics and supply chain management
