Requirements
- Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role
- Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: working with risk management and process improvement projects; data analysis and financial reporting; project management tools including JIRA and Confluence; and advanced Microsoft Excel including working with macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and IF/AND formulas.
Responsibilities
- Validate and capture counterparty documentation, including International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), Credit Support Annex (CSA), and Funding Agreement (Repurchase, Lending and Futures) document terms against legal and margining systems through accurate configuration.
- Ensure information is flowing into downstream systems correctly which enables the Firm to determine market exposure and call collateral from the client to cover its credit risk.
- Review and approve accurate rehypothecation advice, including maintenance of rules in legal system to optimize Firm’s capital requirements.
- Enable accurate liquidity projections to determine material clauses and identify key risks in documentation.
- Manage and escalate breaches on any service level metrics.
- Review and manage potential risks in the daily business operations, implement controls to mitigate risk and work with global team counterparts to enable accurate Key Risk Indicators/Key Perform Indicators (KRI/KPI) metric reporting.
- Manage client go lives and configurations pertaining to mergers and acquisitions on back of corporate actions in the event of merger or takeover across derivative client documentation and margin setups.
