Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates who have completed a vocational or trade school program or equivalent apprenticeship.
- At least eight (8) years of generator maintenance experience, including a minimum of three (3) years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting engines, fuel systems, controls, and generators using technical documents.
- Experience with high-amperage and high-voltage generator operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with contracted maintenance services.
- Strong leadership skills to provide effective supervision and guidance to team members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call assignments, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Requires a SECRET security clearance at the start of the contract and must obtain the appropriate clearance (up to TS) within eight (8) months of the contract award.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of generator engines, fuel systems, and controls.
- Operate and maintain megawatt-rated high-amperage and high-voltage generators.
- Provide guidance and supervision to team members, ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.
- Monitor and collaborate with contracted maintenance services to ensure service quality.
- Work on-call, rotational shifts, and during nights, weekends, and holidays as required to ensure generator availability and reliability.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant standards and regulations.
