Requirements

  • High School diploma (or GED)
  • One to three years related production experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Very good mechanical and physical ability
  • Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training for operation of all company equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive product from Press, stack and place on pallets
  • Printing pallet labels with Pecas
  • Ensure correct loading of product onto pallets for Material handling
  • Ensure quality of jobs completed by reviewing for quality and accuracy
  • Pull Product samples according to company procedures and send to Quality Auditors as required
  • Webbing the press
  • Assist Operators when the press is down
  • Clean up particular press area
  • Fill solvent cans, solvent mules and auto viscosity cans
  • Help set-up cylinders carriages for next job
  • Ensure correct set-up and breakdown of doctor blades using established instructions and procedures
  • Make-Ready duties
  • Maintain and follow all company policies and procedures for EHS, personal protection, and hazard materials/waste handling according to established guidelines
  • Prepare and mount rolls, and operate splicing unit
  • Maintain viscosity of varnish according to standard practices with Zahn cup and stop watch
  • Operate all equipment in a safe manner at all times to ensure no damage to Company property or customer product
  • Actively participates as a member of Press Crew to meet production and team goals
