Requirements
- High School diploma (or GED)
- One to three years related production experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Very good mechanical and physical ability
- Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training for operation of all company equipment.
Responsibilities
- Receive product from Press, stack and place on pallets
- Printing pallet labels with Pecas
- Ensure correct loading of product onto pallets for Material handling
- Ensure quality of jobs completed by reviewing for quality and accuracy
- Pull Product samples according to company procedures and send to Quality Auditors as required
- Webbing the press
- Assist Operators when the press is down
- Clean up particular press area
- Fill solvent cans, solvent mules and auto viscosity cans
- Help set-up cylinders carriages for next job
- Ensure correct set-up and breakdown of doctor blades using established instructions and procedures
- Make-Ready duties
- Maintain and follow all company policies and procedures for EHS, personal protection, and hazard materials/waste handling according to established guidelines
- Prepare and mount rolls, and operate splicing unit
- Maintain viscosity of varnish according to standard practices with Zahn cup and stop watch
- Operate all equipment in a safe manner at all times to ensure no damage to Company property or customer product
- Actively participates as a member of Press Crew to meet production and team goals
