Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7-10 years’ experience in property/asset management in the commercial real estate industry
- Real Estate license for the applicable state where the position is located
- Industry certifications (i.e. IREM, BOMA, CCIM, ICSC) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the various operational activities of the assigned asset(s)
- Work with the Portfolio Oversight and Investments teams to ensure the successful development and execution of the annual business plan
- Overall responsibility for all financial functions including budgeting, re-forecasting, and variance reporting
- Oversee the specialty leasing program for the asset(s)
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in both verbal and written interactions
- Partner with the development team on any development activities planned for the asset(s)
- Oversee the marketing activities for the asset including digital and print advertising
- Analyze challenges to business plan initiatives and develop improvement plans
- Contract with outside vendors and monitor contractor performance
- Ensure tenant compliance with all lease terms
- Preparation and timely submission to owners of monthly reports
- Exhibit a creative and innovative approach to solving problems
- Mentor and support all direct reports and monitor employee performance
Preferred Qualifications
- High level of communication, organizational, and management skills
- Ability to develop, present and gain approval for annual Business Plan
- Ability to write effective and concise letters to tenants, vendors, various City agencies
- Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret contracts and other legal documents
- Ability to create and utilize intermediate level excel formulas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Yardi and Angus
