Requirements
- High School or equivalent required
- Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
- Skill and knowledge of painting, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, masonry and electrical work is required
- A current valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair organization’s facilities and properties involving routine tasks and responsibilities
- Correct minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and structural problems
- Paint structures and equipment as needed
- Document installation and repairs as required by regulatory agencies
- Repair appliances and equipment
- Operate and service boilers, chillers, motors, fans, pumps and related mechanical equipment
- Estimate time and material costs of various projects
- Requisition new supplies and equipment
- Review maintenance records to identify recurring deficiencies; plan and implement corrective maintenance or repairs
- May troubleshoot and repair all building HVAC related equipment
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Will drive vehicle to other locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous truck and/or bus driving experience is desirable
- Must have basic writing and communication skills
- Required to have basic computer skills
- Ability to work on a team
- Self-starter with good interpersonal and customer service skills
