Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer skills in PC applications
- Ability to learn new software
- Microsoft Office Programs (Excel and Outlook) are heavily used
- PDI knowledge preferred
Responsibilities
- Review fuel inventory variances on a daily basis using MS Excel, external inventory data and store closing reports
- Daily matching of bill of ladings in PDI fuel inventory system
- Data entry related to delivered business fuel suppliers
- Perform and review month end close process
- Identify, research and resolve inventory variance
- Develop an in depth understanding of various complex business transactions and the corresponding accounting implications by partnering with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders via email, BMC Remedy and MS Sharepoint
- Light journal entry accounting
