Requirements

  • B.S. degree or Advanced Diploma in Game design or related field.
  • 3+ years of game industry design experience; at least 1+ years with mobile titles.
  • Experience designing a variety of game systems and features.
  • Experience using spreadsheets for tuning and balancing.
  • Experience with genres such as hidden object, puzzle, or puzzle adventure games.
  • Familiarity with Unity for prototyping and iterating gameplay mechanics.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills; able to present ideas clearly to varied audiences.
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and feedback-oriented with strong ownership and follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the design and development of new gameplay mechanics, systems, and features.
  • Create and maintain game design feature specs to clearly communicate design flows and functional details.
  • Collaborate closely with narrative, art, and engineering to ensure gameplay, story, and visuals work cohesively.
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate on gameplay ideas using user testing feedback, team input, and data insights.
  • Design game content such as puzzle scenes and assist with implementing them using Unity.
  • Use spreadsheet modeling to balance game economy, difficulty, and pacing.
  • Ensure implementation aligned to design specs and at desired creative quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience shipping a new mobile game
  • Background working with licensed IP and narrative-driven projects.
