Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) software and code development experience
24 months of experience with designing and developing high-quality software applications
24 months of experience with performance tuning of software applications
24 months of experience with performing unit, system and integration testing
24 months of experience with investigating issues/incidents and providing appropriate solutions
24 months of experience with utilizing tools and technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, EASYTRIEVE, REXX, SQL, XML, Z/OS Connect API, CA7 scheduler, BMC, DFSORT, ICETOOL, IDCAMS, IDZ, MQ Series, DB2 Catalog Manager, JIRA, FILE Manager/File AID, ENDEVOR, NDM, FTP, Agile software development lifecycle, DevOps principles and GITLAB

Utilize full Software Development Lifecycle to design, develop, and test high-quality software applications
Utilize software and code development experience
Design and develop high-quality software applications with Optimal Technical solution for the requirement including the best way and cost saving for the customer
Performance tuning of software applications by monitoring the deployed code and review the performance of the code in production and provide suggestions to improve the performance of the code
Perform unit, system and integration testing and coordinate with testing team and business users for User Acceptance testing, providing knowledge sharing on software design and performing necessary bug fix reported in testing
Investigate issues/incidents, identifying the root cause and providing appropriate solutions within the Service Level Agreement
Utilize various tools and technologies as listed in the requirements section
