Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience in software development/engineering
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline
- Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree for a total of seven (7) years of experience
- Experience providing technical leadership to a development team
- Experience with C# and Java
- Willingness to embrace challenges and seek to become an expert in the products
- Experience developing and updating technical documentation
- Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting computer systems and software
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience closely collaborating with the Government customer
- Knowledge of SQL Server Database
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and enhancing complex operational software systems
- Interacting with Government project leadership on priorities
- Developing task estimates
- Providing input to Government roadmaps
- Providing technical guidance to the team
- Conducting upgrades of commercial products
- Debugging existing software and correcting defects
- Integrating existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments
- Investigating and analyzing user problems and identifying potential solutions
- Providing support for troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
- Developing and executing test procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence & Jira
- Experience with C# and .NET
