Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of full-time software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java, C++, Go, or Rust, and expertise in TypeScript or JavaScript within React.
- Knowledge of best practices for developing production grade systems: Frontend, backend, and database security; Continuous development, testing, deployment, and monitoring cycles; Understanding of networking and distributed system concepts and best practices.
- Proven experience in developing products or platforms that have served users at a large scale.
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and deployment of full-stack solutions for a robust and scalable development platform for Robotics hosted on the cloud.
- Collaborate with the Simulation, Robot and Machine Learning teams to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components.
- Implement best practices for security, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Independently drive continuous improvement in performance, scalability, and reliability for a platform expected to serve a large user base.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep functional knowledge of a major cloud hosted platform like Azure, AWS, GCP etc.
- Experience with Kubernetes and running scalable services across distributed systems.
- Working knowledge of resources needed for workloads like video streaming, distributed machine learning inference, and large-scale robot data collection and storage.
- Experience working with sensitive data and adhering to strict security protocols.
