Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Motivation and desire to serve adults with disabilities and/or chronic health conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from client’s home
Responsibilities
- Engage clients in their own homes by assisting with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, personal care (bathing, toileting, dressing), shopping, housework, and other tasks.
- Encourage clients to be as independent as possible in self-care.
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisor according to policy.
- Participate in and complete training and certification programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is highly preferred but not required.
- The ability to work with clients of any gender is preferred, not required.
- Personal vehicle is preferred, not required.
