Requirements
- Motivation and desire to serve adults with disabilities and/or chronic health conditions
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Responsibilities
- Engage clients in their own homes by assisting with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, personal care (bathing, toileting, dressing), shopping, housework, and other tasks.
- Encourage clients to be as independent as possible in self-care.
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisor according to policy.
- Participate and complete trainings and certification program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to work with clients of any gender is preferred, not required
- Reliable transportation to and from client’s home, personal vehicle is preferred, not required
- High School diploma or GED is highly preferred, but not required
