Requirements
- Knowledge of instrument flying procedures
- Knowledge of Air Traffic Control procedures
- Knowledge of Minimum Equipment list procedures
- Skilled in excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as superb proofreading skills
- Skilled in excellent computer skills with an ability to learn new programs quickly
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a Team player
- Ability to work under time constraints, with multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Ability to understand complex technical documents
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Intermediate level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in: Extensive database and analysis tool experience, Data mining tools, Specific analysis of narrative data, Flight Operations or Dispatch, Commercial airline operations; specifically Flight Operations, Line Operations Safety Audit (LOSA) experience
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of the data cleaning process to ensure timely completion
- Perform analysis of the FSAP data to identify correlations and patterns
- Generate reports for internal and external customers
- Work with other Analysts to compare FSAP data against other Safety Programs
- Maintain Observer training and qualification records
- Coordinate Observer trip pulls for data cleaning, training, and in-office visits
- Perform periodic audits and quality checks of the FSAP data and generates internal Observer quality reports with feedback on each Observer
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leader
