Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing solid code in Java
- Solid understanding of React, distributed systems and web technologies
- Experience with AWS, Lambda and No-SQL databases
- Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present sophisticated technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to quickly research and solve technical problems
- Interest in learning and taking on increasingly complex tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours at times, based on a geographically distributed team
- Experienced in solving real-time distributed computing problems
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver high-quality, high-performance, well-supported code for a distributed messaging environment
- Excel at communicating with your team, to build solid solutions
- Lead the investigation and resolution of production issues
- Be a champion for refactoring and perfecting code
- Collaborate effectively with TPMs, Product Managers and Engineers of various technical backgrounds
- Cross organizational boundaries to collaborate with other technology teams and solve integrated problems
