Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with major in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2 or more years work experience in Finance specifically with budget preparation & financial forecasting or projections and financial analysis
- Strong computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word, advance knowledge of Excel desired; working knowledge of all other Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, etc.)
- Extensive experience with computerized accounting system
- Strong and effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to details required
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure on multiple projects with competing deadlines and to prioritize work effectively
- Must be highly motivated, able to exercise discretion and good judgment, work independently, take initiative, participate as an effective team member and follow tasks through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Financial Forecasting and Projections (30%)
- Customer Service & Reporting (35%)
- Budget Process and Budget to Actual Analysis (35%)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong preference for knowledge of nonprofit accounting or finance experience
- Working knowledge of Abila’s MIP Fund Accounting a plus.
