Forward Deployed Engineer

2+ years of relevant, post-college work experience
Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Sciences
Strong coder with demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following: JavaScript (specifically NodeJS), React, Python (especially Django or DRF)
Ability to develop and build creative solutions to a wide variety of technical challenges and learn new subject matter quickly
Capable of explaining complex technical concepts with clarity and simplicity, whether to an engineer or an executive/other non-technical stakeholder
Passion for understanding customer problems and quickly delivering scalable solutions

Solve novel technical challenges alongside our customers: You will work with Narmi’s customers to understand their unique use cases and technical challenges, and work with them to design and implement creative solutions within our current platform.
Build new platform functionality: you are an extension of Narmi’s platform engineering team and thus will contribute alongside the dedicated pod to broader platform development work
Work with customers to identify product gaps and opportunities to build new features and prototypes to extend our existing APIs to better meet client needs
You’ll help build the v0 when we need to solve a problem quickly, and then work with the rest of the engineering team to re-architect the initial solution over time to optimize for scale
Automation: you will identify opportunities to improve and automate recurrent FI workflows and create scalable systems and tools for addressing customer pain points
You’ll take the lead on working with FIs to identify solutions to problems for the Platform team
