Forward Deployed Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a data engineer or analytics engineer
Experience with Python or Java, and proficiency with data integrations, APIs, or SDKs.
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with financial data systems (e.g., ERP, FP&A platforms).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A passion for solving complex business problems using data-driven approaches.

Be a bridge between customers and product teams, capturing feedback, proposing and implementing new features that can enhance the platform.
Work closely with our customers to understand their financial planning and analytics requirements. Translate business needs into technical solutions using Summation’s platform.
Lead the deployment of the Summation AI-native platform within customer environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing ERP, BI, and data systems.
Design and implement scalable solutions, building models, workflows, and dashboards for customers using Summation’s open analytics protocols, including SQL, Python, and Excel integrations.
Focus on creating reusable components that ensure reliability and efficiency across customer deployments.
