Requirements
- Comfortable diving into design and code, particularly Python
- Ability to learn from existing examples, explore APIs, triage bugs, and speak on technical aspects of tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Curiosity and creativity; desire to learn and experiment; self-starter who thrives in ambiguity
- 1-3 years of experience in software engineering
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Strong desire and experience working with generative AI tools: Devin, Copilot, Lovable, Bolt.new, Claude Code, Prefect, Langflow
- Ability to quickly switch contexts and maintain a sharp eye for detail
Responsibilities
- Work directly with MongoDB’s product managers, user experience designers, and software engineers
- Understand and analyze users’ needs and pain points, advocating on their behalf
- Mine various data sources and discuss technical constraints with engineers and designers
- Create new product requirements and experiences
- Refine and communicate the product strategy to relevant stakeholders
