Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Must obtain the ServeSafe Food Handlers or local Health Department certificate within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of kitchen and related food service tasks such as cleaning, serving in retail and patient areas, food preparation, assembling trays, transporting food and supplies, and dishware washing.
- Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation according to federal and state guidelines.
- Adhere to hospital policies for information management ensuring confidentiality, security, and integrity of data.
- Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and guidelines of federal and state regulatory agencies.
