Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as an U.S. Armed Forces-qualified fixed-wing pilot
- 3+ years of experience as a Mobility Pilot or T-1 instructor pilot in a DoD aircraft and unit such as an Air Education and Training Command (AETC) Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) or Pilot Instructor Training (PIT) course
- Experience in Air Force aircraft or weapon system training development and instruction
- Experience analyzing complex problems, researching, synthesizing data, and proposing solutions or alternatives across multiple complex tasks in multiple organizations
- Ability to develop flying training tasks and lesson objectives and linkages to overarching flying competencies
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and guide the execution of U.S. military flying training programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Contract or Civilian Simulator Instructor (CSI)
- Experience as Joint Staff, Headquarters Air Force, or MAJCOM staff
- Secret clearance
- Master’s degree
