Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years proven experience
- Proven experience in the design of aerospace fluid or mechanical systems
- Experience in 3D CAD programs (Creo preferred)
- Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools to analyze pressurized systems and secondary structures (ANSYS preferred)
- Proficiency in crafting engineering drawings with GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
- Proven understanding of fluid components such as valves, tubing, and pressurized hardware
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Experience with Project Management initiatives such as schedule maintenance and vendor management
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent
- Experience designing systems with Hydrogen, Oxygen, Methane and Nitrogen in liquid and/or gaseous states
- Experience with thermo-fluid solver applications Thermal Desktop (Sinda Fluint), AFT (Fathom/Arrow), Excel-based models, REFPROP
- Proven understanding of materials properties and treatments
- Hands-on experience building and testing mechanical assemblies or pressurized components/systems
- Solid understanding of fabrication, integration processes, and quality control techniques relevant to tubes, machined components, and welded hardware.
