Requirements
- PhD preferred. Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
- 4+ years experience with Flow Cytometry application sales.
- Strategic Selling Competence
- Willingness to embrace new ways of connecting with customers
- Four or more years of experience in industry, academia, government or sales
- Understands pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical workflows
- Very strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Cellular Biology and Flow Cytometry, its applications and workflows
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Solid presentation skills
- Exceptional Interpersonal Skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy unique ways to reach customers
- Develop customer relationships
- Prospect for new opportunities
- Follow-up leads promptly
- Drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle that will vary from days to years
- Successfully negotiate complex sales transactions
- Create and deliver seminars that educate, increase awareness and interest, ultimately leading to new Agilent customers
- Handle complex demands and relationships to enhance customer satisfaction while exceeding Agilent sales goals
- Provide market and product feedback to R&D
- Use CRM and other tools as required to drive business
- Serve on the sales team, lifting everyone to higher achievement
