Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification from an approved, accredited Nurse Assistant training program or currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) program and have completed at least one clinical rotation
- Current BLS Training from the American Heart Association
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Monitor blood pressure and temperature of patients
- Ensure the delivery of meals and safe transport
- Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure
- Float to all units in the hospital such as Med-Surg, Critical Care, Psychiatry, Emergency Department or where needed
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a nurse’s aide in a hospital
