Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with requirements based testing, preferably applying ARP4754A, DO-178C, or similar guidelines.
  • Experience leading and driving technical projects to completion
  • Background using Polarion, DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
  • Excellent technical writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Build, mentor and inspire a world class team with expertise in aircraft systems integration and test, with a strong focus on testing planning, execution rigor and efficiency.
  • Define and continuously improve processes to develop verification plans, procedures, execute development, company and certification tests, and document test results.
  • Develop and control tools to ensure that test execution and data analyses are performed efficiently.
  • Perform and coordinate testing in integrated systems labs, such as the Iron Bird
  • Propose and manage budgets and resources for the team, define roadmaps and schedules, organize and prioritize the work, track and communicate progress.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators both to assess the maturity of the design under test, and to continuously improve the efficiency of our infrastructure and test processes.
  • Foster team collaboration, promote and support personal development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering management, technical management, or business administration.
  • Experience with continuous integration & test tools like TeamCity or Jenkins, and test automation frameworks.
  • Experience with Python, MATLAB, NI, or other data acquisition and analysis software.
  • Experience with integrated system communication protocols (ARINC429, CAN, Ethernet, RS485 etc.)
