Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- 1 year of experience in a Fitness Center environment with a background in program management and/or exercise testing
Responsibilities
- Supervise exercise activities, monitor exercising participants, and interact with members to ensure that exercise programs are done safely and effectively.
- Create, implement, and evaluate incentive programs to enhance exercise adherence and retention.
- Assist with the development and instruction of group exercise classes.
- Teach participants on class method, purpose, and procedures.
- Carry out other projects and duties as assigned by department supervisor or fitness center manager.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- First-Aid
- ACE and CSCS
