Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience with Intel SoC architecture and design.
- Experience in software/firmware/embedded development in C++ and Python.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop firmware microarchitecture, design, and validation for power management in SoC products.
- Make architectural decisions focusing on software structure, interfaces, frameworks, protocols, algorithms, and validation.
- Define complex software structures, algorithms, and design patterns for interaction with hardware, operating systems, kernels, drivers, and other software.
- Conduct technical analysis of IA SoC disaggregated architecture with a deep understanding of HW/SW interfaces and SoC power management flows at silicon and platform level to perform PnP optimization.
- Engage in pre-silicon feature design and development, HW model and test environment development, and validation.
- Drive estimation, planning with stakeholders, DevOps automation.
- Innovate through pathfinding activities and explore future technologies to influence the shaping of future Intel Client SoC design families.
- Follow the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional, multi-geo teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong background in computer architecture, especially power management architecture, with an understanding of Intel SoC architecture.
- Advanced software development skills, including Clean Code principles and Test-Driven Development.
- Experience in SoC pre-silicon and post-silicon validation.
- Experience with Simics and test environment development.
- Experience in SoC firmware IP TFMs (Tools, Flows, and Methodologies), DevOps, GitHub, and automation.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
