Requirements
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- 3+ years of experience with Azure, AWS, GCP and/or Oracle cloud services
- 2+ years of experience working in a DoD or other Federal Government environment
- Deep understanding of CSP FinOps tools
- Experience with relational databases, data extraction, and data analysis tools
- Understanding of Federal Government IT procurement processes
- Understanding of industry best practices related to Cloud resource tagging and tagging enforcement through automation.
Responsibilities
- Develops and champions cloud infrastructure cost management best practices
- Partners with the agencies finance, procurement, & engineering teams to help measure and manage their cloud infrastructure costs
- Builds analytical models to provide data-driven guidance on cloud infrastructure spend
- Creates utilization and forecasting models to predict future outcomes of cloud infrastructure spend and usage
- Creates and maintains internal documentation on FinOps and cost optimization processes.
