Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting required
- GAAP knowledge required
Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination of monthly, quarterly and annual joint venture GAAP reporting process and annual audit process with auditors
- Preparation of monthly financial statements for the joint venture entities for distribution to the members
- Preparation of annual audited GAAP financial statements for the joint venture entities
- Preparation of FERC financial statements for the respective joint venture entities, where applicable and for other consolidated entities
- Assistance with accounting for certain technical accounting areas
- Preparation of balance sheet, income statement and cash flow analysis
- Analyze the results of operations of the joint ventures and communicates causes of variances from anticipated results and prior year results
- Preparation of periodic reports to government entities
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of public accounting and/or financial accounting/reporting experience preferred
- Certified Public Accounting license is preferred
- Experience within or general understanding of the midstream oil and gas industry is preferred
