Requirements
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite (primarily Excel), ability to work with large data sets, and experience with financial analysis
- Must have the ability to manage task load
- Must maintain attention to detail at all times
- Excellent organizational skills, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel
- Possess discretion to work with confidential information
Responsibilities
- Utilize visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Excel, etc.) to design, develop, and implement interactive reports and dashboards that provide valuable insights
- Build and maintain user-friendly and informative dashboards, reports, and presentations to enable day-to-day strategic data-driven decision making
- Collaborate with key users and stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate those into effective end products
- Create a relationship of trust and cooperation with key users and stakeholders
- Analyze and validate data to ensure accuracy and validity within reports and dashboards
- Gather and analyze financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues
- Assist with the design and production of monthly reporting and analysis
- Support different areas of the business through analysis of financial data
- Ensure company compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and assist with interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards
- Special projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Data visualization (Tableau or Power BI) and/or business intelligence experience preferred
