Requirements
- 5+ years of financial experience
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or other highly analytical field
- Excellent communicator; articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience both in writing and verbally
- Solid understanding of financial documents and operations performance drivers
- Intellectual curiosity and passion for developing new skills
- Proven financial modelling experience
- Initiative, drive, and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Experience in project and cost accounting, and rate development
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth financial analysis, guidance, and recommendations to support vertical integration activities
- Support the monthly business reviews, variance analysis, and all major financial planning processes (Monthly Close & Reporting, Annual Operating Plan, and Multi-Year Strategic Plan) as a business partner for the Business Operation’s team and Blue Battery factory
- Implement controls, processes, and risk management initiatives including performance indicators to manage operational and financial performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, or Accounting experience
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Experience with Tableau
- Experience with SQL querying, data mining
