Requirements

3 to 5 years in Investment Banking, Private Equity or Venture Capital, with strong preference for Tech/AI/SaaS background
Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional financial teams and collaborate with senior leadership
Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills with ability to interpret data and drive decision-making
Experience in P&L management, balance sheets, and cash forecasting
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence decision-making and articulate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in dynamic environments
Expertise with financial reporting tools and systems
Proven expertise in unit economics and pricing
Experience with investor communications and creating compelling data visualizations
Understanding of cloud compute infrastructure costs and optimization strategies
Knowledge of AI/ML development platforms and the broader developer tools market
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field preferred
Passion for Replit’s mission to make programming more accessible and collaborative

Responsibilities

Work on financial planning, analysis, pricing, and deal desk to help drive growth in the business
Consolidate financial forecasts, customer demand plans, and operational budgets
Own weekly/monthly reporting processes, providing financial insights to leadership on operational performance, costs, and financial health
Build strong relationships with Operations, Technology, and GTM teams to steer the business to our financial goals
Partner with Sales and Product teams to establish pricing strategy and deal desk frameworks
Lead efforts to set and monitor financial efficiency targets
Drive long-term forecasting and scenario planning, adapting financial strategies to changing business needs
Manage compute and infrastructure spend, identifying areas for improvement and executing efficiency opportunities
Create high-quality Executive and Board-facing presentations
Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate product performance, cloud compute efficiency, and market opportunities in the AI development space
Create comprehensive investor reporting packages that effectively communicate Replit’s growth metrics, unit economics, and strategic positioning in the AI platform market
Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze and optimize cloud compute costs, helping drive efficiency in our infrastructure as we scale AI capabilities
Design and implement pricing and packaging strategies for Replit’s various product tiers, with a focus on our AI-powered features and enterprise offerings
Perform competitive analysis of the AI development platform landscape to inform strategic decision-making
Support fundraising activities by preparing financial materials and participating in investor discussions

Preferred Qualifications

2-4 years of experience as an Investment Banking/Venture Capital Analyst
Experience scaling a company in the tech sector
Background in AI or technology companies
Experience managing compute and infrastructure costs in tech environments
Track record of successful strategic financial planning in high-growth environments
Experience with GenAI business models and pricing strategies
