Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics is preferred, though candidates with a CPA designation or an MBA are also encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Solid understanding of GAAP principles.
- Proficiency in financial software applications, with Oracle EPBCS experience being a plus.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across business segments and cross-functional teams.
- Intellectual curiosity and a drive to learn and develop new skills and processes.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate financial reports from diverse business segments to provide actionable insights.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages on a pro-forma basis.
- Analyze variances from budget and prior periods to identify trends and opportunities.
- Calculate and evaluate key performance metrics to drive strategic decision-making.
- Assist in crafting budgets and forecasts that align with organizational goals.
- Prepare financial schedules for audit, tax, and due diligence processes.
- Collaborate with the EPIC Insurance Finance team to deliver critical financial analyses and respond to information requests.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team’s success.
