Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field with a major in Accounting or Finance
- 10 years of hospital reimbursement experience including healthcare financial and cost report preparation experience
- CPA certification desired
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation and review of third-party cost report filings
- Providing critical analytical and reimbursement support for the reimbursement function
- Developing expertise in reimbursement processes and financial reporting systems
- Preparing the annual forecast of the third-party reimbursement for the budget
- Preparing Medicare and Medicaid Settlement estimates and performing reconciliation and variance analysis of third-party liability accounts
- Providing supporting work papers and documentation for third-party inquiries along with reimbursement and regulatory analysis on Health System projects
- Responsible for Hospital Wage Index and Uncompensated Care Reporting and audits
- Responsible for year-end financial audit of third-party balance sheet account
