Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4-7 years Accounting or Finance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven problem solving skills
- Strong oral and written communicator
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated understanding & application of GAAP
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Knowledge of Hyperion HFM
- Effective verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to effectively work across organizational boundaries
- Knowledge of AS400/Mapics system
- ISO and/or SOX Compliance Standards
Responsibilities
- Drive business cadences including but not limited to month end close, Forecasting, Operating Plan and risk mitigation
- Perform variance analysis of accounts as needed
- Provide costing support for Annual Cost Update/Analysis
- Maintain the MAPICS general ledger (tie outs, roll overs, chart of accounts, statement formats, etc.)
- Assist with managerial accounting in support of plant operations, including managing 1 direct report (Finance Analyst)
- Coordinate distribution, loading and tie-out for SG&A forecast targets
- SG&A Budget Management and Headcount tracking
- Spearhead process improvements that deliver efficiency improvements & impact business results
- Lead a team with direct responsibility of the Annual Physical Inventory and monthly Cycle count program
- Completes tax documents (Ex: TN sales tax returns, annual property tax returns, etc.)
- Reporting and Query capabilities to support sites, project teams, and general analysis
