Requirements
- Understanding of budgeting process and financial reporting
- Familiarity with database systems and general ledger mapping
- Analytical skills to monitor units of service against budget and forecast
- Ability to reconcile and analyze revenue and expense accounts
- Knowledge of governmental contracts and fee for service programs
Responsibilities
- Assist with individual projects related to budgeting and financial reporting
- Update database systems/general ledger mapping for financial reporting
- Monitor units of service against budget and forecast
- Assist Budget Managers in reconciling and analyzing revenue and expense accounts
- Research budget variances
- Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of governmental contracts and fee for service programs
- Review and prepare year-end analysis and detail schedules for the Consolidated Financial Report (CFR)
- Review current Chart of Accounts and update for unused/suspended accounts
- Assist in the review and consolidation of petty cash account listings
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Assist in day to day activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
