Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems.
- Automate workflows with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Tech-savviness is essential to code and work with programming to develop scripts to optimize financial data processing.
- Interest in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare finance industry.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data validation, reconciliations, and variance analysis in Excel to support accurate budgeting and financial reporting for R&D projects.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading to support financial reporting.
- Support data integration and automation efforts by developing scripts and processes (e.g., in Python, VBA, SQL) to streamline financial reporting, including ETL workflows and basic API-driven data exchanges.
- Help maintain financial systems and tools for tracking expenditures and project costs against budgets and forecasts.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, variance analyses, and compliance documentation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
