Finance Intern

Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
At least one year of Intermediate Accounting
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., ERP systems).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, IFRS) is a plus

Collaborate with the External Reporting team to compile and analyze financial data for quarterly and annual reports.
Research authoritative literature and provide technical accounting recommendations on transactions such as legal transactions, impairment, and investments.
Gather and verify financial data from various sources, including internal departments and external partners.
Perform data reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Audit, to gather necessary information for reporting purposes.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the external reporting function and recommend potential solutions.
Participate in ad-hoc projects related to financial reporting, as assigned by the External Reporting Manager.
Provide administrative support as needed.
Assist with internal PowerPoint presentations.
