Finance Analyst

Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting or an Advanced Degree with 0+ years of work experience

Established and productive individual contributor, in FP&A and accounting subjects such as: analysis of profit and loss statements and/or income statements, working capital, asset management including depreciation, cash flow, variance analysis, business case preparation & related theories, and financial planning/forecasting.
Collaborates with CMRA, Finance, and other areas across the company as needed to drive results.
Solves Problems by understanding breadth of issue, recommending enhancements, seeks alignment and executes.
Communicates well and frequently with direct management and stakeholders.
Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries and reporting.

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including revenue and expense analytics
Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify key trends and drivers
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for management
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
Expertise in using systems and data to provide insightful analysis and implement actionable recommendations
High level of business acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization
Ability to work independently and self-motivate with limited oversight
Experience managing projects that require high collaboration across teams and building relationships
Familiarity with Medtronic financial systems, including SAP, Onestream, Essbase and Hyperion
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
An MBA or CPA designation is a plus
