Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a business field, preferably Accounting, or related experience.
- 2+ years of accounting experience providing information to management.
- General knowledge of bookkeeping terminology and methods.
- General knowledge of standard office procedures.
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to maintain complex and confidential financial records.
- Ability to make mathematical computations quickly and accurately.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office related software.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and shared drives.
- Must have strong Excel experience and skills.
- Must have experience with and be able to quickly navigate IT systems.
- Conducts work in a sitting position; however, job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and light lifting.
Responsibilities
- Manage invoices/vendor management (including training managers) in XtraCHEF.
- Serves as main POC for IT exports, GL coding issues, researching errors in XtraCHEF.
- Manually enter invoices when needed (Obeer).
- Manually create Purchase Orders when needed (Obeer).
- Manually enter items in support of bank reconciliation (Obeer).
- Maintain excel reporting, including pivot tables and more advanced Excel functions.
- Maintains files, account records, and other records pertaining to the accounting function.
- Edits and assists in correcting errors in the process of coding. Assists in bookkeeping and record control systems.
- Other admin duties as directed.
