Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a business field, preferably Accounting, or related experience.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience providing information to management.
  • General knowledge of bookkeeping terminology and methods.
  • General knowledge of standard office procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Ability to maintain complex and confidential financial records.
  • Ability to make mathematical computations quickly and accurately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office related software.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and shared drives.
  • Must have strong Excel experience and skills.
  • Must have experience with and be able to quickly navigate IT systems.
  • Conducts work in a sitting position; however, job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and light lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage invoices/vendor management (including training managers) in XtraCHEF.
  • Serves as main POC for IT exports, GL coding issues, researching errors in XtraCHEF.
  • Manually enter invoices when needed (Obeer).
  • Manually create Purchase Orders when needed (Obeer).
  • Manually enter items in support of bank reconciliation (Obeer).
  • Maintain excel reporting, including pivot tables and more advanced Excel functions.
  • Maintains files, account records, and other records pertaining to the accounting function.
  • Edits and assists in correcting errors in the process of coding. Assists in bookkeeping and record control systems.
  • Other admin duties as directed.
